Space 37 is a venue and open arts collective based in a renovated garage on Lister Street, Falmouth. Over July a team has been creating the space; painting the walls, putting up shelves and collecting useful objects (books, screens, plinths etc.). A programme of events is being drawn up, including artist residencies, exhibitions, film screenings, musical performances and more. As an open collective, we exist as a free platform for creative individuals and groups to showcase work and share ideas. I hope this will encourage collaboration and a freedom of professional practice independent from the institutional structure. WATCH THIS SPACE.
